Possibly because I never shut up, in 1993 I was asked to start some coaching sessions for Exeter Chess Club and also to re-start the Exeter Junior Chess Club.  These parallel activities have stimulated a deal of thought and activity, which is mostly expressed in the records of the coaching materials at the Exeter Chess Club website, and in a series of books for junior players.written with Tim Onions.

I continue to play, and also study and write about chess for my own benefit and that of students young and old.
