To help you take your first steps into over-the-board chess, we are running a Novice Junior Chess Tournament, which is intended to be a young player's first tournament.
We are actually running two such events, one at each end of the county:

Sun 20 Nov 2022 Poltimore Village Hall EX4 0AR
Our plan is to offer six brisk games of chess interleaved with six brief chess lessons, to give them a grounding in the basics. Every player will have a little booklet to take away, summarising the lesson content, a PDF is attached.
We hope you will let all your budding players know about this new event, which we hope to make a fixture in the local chess calendar.
Numbers are limited to 30.
